Bible quizzing ministry is a unique and exciting ministry for youth that combines Bible study, mentoring, competition, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. The Bible quizzing ministry in the Church of the Nazarene has been around for 35 years.
According to the official Nazarene Quizzing site: www.youthquiz.com, over 40 countries around the world are currently participating in Nazarene Bible Quizzing Ministry.
Nazarene Bible Quizzing is highly organized so that teens compete on various levels: individual, zone, district and regional.
It is the official goal of Nazarene Bible Quizzing to be:
- An avenue of meaningful Bible study for youth to attain to a deep and intimate knowledge of Scripture.
- An integral part of the outreach and discipleship aspects of local church youth ministry.
- A medium for the training and mentoring of youth leadership worldwide.
- A catalyst for encouraging active participation in ministry and mission projects.
- A bridge between youth from different world regions.
- An arena for exciting Christian competition.
