Every new believer is admonished to grow in their faith. If you've been walking with the Lord for many years, you must also continue to grow! If we do not, we will die. Part of that growth is "seeking the face of God." 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." So many of us are content to seek the hand of God -- or rather, God's hand-outs. We must spend time with Him on a daily basis. How do we do that? By spending time in the Word and in prayer. Take some time out today -- read the devotional reading -- listen to some music and meditate on Him. Worship God for who He is! Finally, share with Him your needs and requests. But first, ask Him to allow you into His holy presence; into the very throne room of heaven. Then you will "taste and see that the Lord is good." (Psalm 34:8)
We must pray!
God wants to form you. This is your spiritual formation. However, the key to this formation is to spend time with Him in prayer. Sometimes we don't know how to pray. Jesus provided us with a model in His Word. Download the guide "Learning to Pray" here -- and it can provide a framework for your time with Him.

The names of God!
As we come to Him in prayer -- let's praise God for who He is! Focusing on His acts can help us to praise Him.
