Teen Volleyball

The Grace Point Youth Department is on the Fort Wayne Zone* which has a strong volleyball program for both girls and guys. Seasonally, teens grades 7-12 meet weekly at Grace Point to learn/review the fundamentals of volleyball and refine their current skills.

Practices are geared to teens of all skill levels whether they have never played volleyball before or are on the varsity team at school.

The teens form teams and compete in a tournament in the spring at Celebrate Life which traditionally takes place in Huntington, Indiana. Here they compete against the other 10-12 zones on the Northeast Indiana District.  In order to compete as part of this team, teens must attend a Nazarene church on the Fort Wayne Zone at least 3 times a month.

Teens learn how the lessons learned in volleyball translate to their Christian faith and their daily living. It is the goal they will encourage each other to become the men and women of God that we have been called to be.

*The Nazarene church is organized in zones, districts, and regions. This organizational structure allows for fellowship on many different levels.
